“I don’t smoke, I try to eat right, and I love doing yoga and going for hikes with my dog.”
~ Sarah Chalke
Dawg’s View: My personal assistant was endeavouring to find an appropriate quote about smoke to emphasise our current situation of light filtered through layers of haze from bushfires burning not too far distantly north of us. We are greatful, praying for those less fortunate and for the bravery of firefighters everywhere.
“Sleep is the best meditation.”
~ Dalai Lama
“There is nothing that the busy man is less busy with than living; there is nothing harder to learn.”

Dawg’s Comment: Wishing my buddy Ralph a safe and comfortable flight. Tonights slideshow is from one of my favourite beach spots Lulworth, I feel it necessary to make comment on the over abundant roadkill on the ways there and back. My people managed to slow down for slow moving birds, rabbits, a wallaby and two wombats, hey, it’s their planet too!
“Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year.”
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Dawg Today: Meandering around the waterways and parklands of the Meander Valley…scentilicious!
“Nothing’s better than a picnic.”
~ Zooey Deschanel
Dawg’s View: Fish n’ chips with the bi-peds at Georgetown on Christmas Eve. Tasty Ha Chacha. Best Wishes for all…
“It’s like Deja Vu all over again.”
~ Yogi Berra
“The winds, the sea, and the moving tides are what they are. If there is wonder and beauty and majesty in them, science will discover these qualities… If there is poetry in my book about the sea, it is not because I deliberately put it there, but because no one could write truthfully about the sea and leave out the poetry.”
~ Rachel Carson
“Sometimes just being on a beach with my loved ones is all the adventure I need. I am a happy camper and continue to be a citizen of the world. I have yet to discover other cultures, other peoples’ dreams and treasures. I will always be a traveler who is discovering beautiful Gaia.”
~ Guy Laliberte
“The whole secret of the study of nature lies in learning how to use one’s eyes.”
~ George Sand
