Lulworth, Thursday, Pt.1

“Sometimes just being on a beach with my loved ones is all the adventure I need. I am a happy camper and continue to be a citizen of the world. I have yet to discover other cultures, other peoples’ dreams and treasures. I will always be a traveler who is discovering beautiful Gaia.”

~ Guy Laliberte

“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
~ Mahatma Gandhi

UPDATE: Whilst still not letting me run loose despite my insistence on my magnificent recovery. Today my bipeds took me to Trevallyn Dam Reserve on the South Esk River in Launceston. Olfactory Party Time! ~ Frankie

“I really don’t know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea, except I think it’s because in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes, and ships change, it’s because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt in our blood that exists in the ocean, and, therefore, we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears. We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea – whether it is to sail or to watch it – we are going back from whence we came.”
― John F. Kennedy

“My soul is full of longing for the secret of the sea,
and the heart of the great ocean sends a thrilling pulse through me.”

~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

“A small act is worth a million thoughts.”
~ Ai Weiwei

UPDATE: Frankie started physiotherapy today with talented Bowen practitioner Marie.
Whilst not being the outstanding stick-jutsu practitioner of legend, he may once more in the the not-too-distant future roam with the gentle waves breaking on the shoreline at one of our local beaches.

“There was a water-drop, it joined the sea,
A speck of dust, it was fused with earth;
what of your entering and leaving this world?
A fly appeared, and disappeared.”

~ Omar Khayy’am

The Ocean

“The ocean was one of the greatest things he had ever seen in his life ~ bigger and deeper than anything he had imagined. It changed its colour and shape and expression according to time and place and weather. It aroused a deep sadness in his heart, and at the same time it brought his heart peace and comfort.”
~ Haruki Murakami

GOD (untitled#)

“God does not die on the day when we cease to believe in a personal deity, but we die on the day when our lives cease to be illumined by the steady radiance, renewed daily, of a wonder, the source of which is beyond reason.”
~ Dag Hammarskjold

“I haven’t done much comedy; I would love to. I love doing dramatic roles, but I’d love to do comedy. I think it would be refreshing.”
~ Richard Harmon

Note: Best way to deodorise and refresh your dawgi companion. Beach: Lulworth, Tasmania.

“People are going to come into your life, and God is going to use them to help you. To them you’re insignificant and don’t matter. They are not going to understand you, or even see the point of why God had you hang in there with them for so long. Remember this: Sometimes meeting someone has nothing to do with what you can provide for him or her and everything to do with what God needs you to recognise in that person. If you didn’t understand the message, God will keep sending the same person or situation into your life.”
~ Shannon L. Alder
